Outreach’s mission is to provide safe water, food, medical care and education to children and those in need at home and abroad. The primary activity of Outreach is volunteer-engaged meal packaging events for the hungry.

Member Duties : Members will assist in the creation of the Hunger Free Iowa Initiative and help Outreach build the organizational capacity for building a replicable model. This is an exciting opportunity to establish a sustainable program and create measurable social impact. The Resource Development Specialist will be responsible for establishing various funding and revenue streams to support the organization and meal packaging. Member activities include: identifying items that Outreach has to offer, establishing marketing and communication strategies, create donor database model, identify major donors, and research grant opportunities.
