The Advancement Foundation- LEAP for Local Food

The Advancement Foundation (TAF) was founded in 2007 to impact community wide social change by eliminating poverty. We accomplish this by strategic focus for grassroots nonprofits that provide support for the basic needs of the disadvantaged. Our mission is to improve the lives of the underprivileged. This is achieved through three distinct methods - direct services; nonprofit management; and collaborations. The Foundation leverages the resources of various human services agencies, combined with direct services, to teach life skills that work to eliminate poverty while empowering the poor with training and support. TAF also maximizes the efficiency of our client organizations and develops collaborations that create comprehensive improvement. We provide agencies guidance, training, and occasionally staff support in order to execute strategic planning, resource development, program efficiency, marketing, and collaborations to maximize community impact.
