Member Duties : The VISTA will be tasked to help create a business plan for SNAP’s upcoming Social Enterprise - that will focus on job training and employment opportunities in energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. This will include: developing partnerships with businesses, institutions, entrepreneurs and non-profits in the Spokane community; create job descriptions; write training curriculum needed for targeted groups (ex-offenders, Veterans, low-income, minorities and refugees) ; find a viable location for the Social Enterprise; write grants and secure other funding and donations to launch the Social Enterprise; and coordinate the startup of the new business.
