Member Duties : Resource Development Associate:
What is Resource Development? The Development Department is dedicated to making sure that the entire team has the financial and relational resources they need to complete the mission of the organization. We are the fundraisers, the grant writers, the strategists, the storytellers, and the networkers who care deeply about outcomes.
This position requires strong writing skills, an exceptional attention to detail and a proactive sensibility. You will be writing, researching, tracking, creating, brainstorming, inventing and planning to ensure that Advancing Justice | Chicago is able to constantly grow their base of support.
You will participate in collaborative planning, assist in the preparation and delivery of funding proposals and materials, as well as, participate in the strategy, planning and production of several special events. You will learn how to keep a nonprofit financial viable – the foundation of a healthy organization.
