| Member Duties : The CIMC VISTAs will work closely with the tribal planning department to provide economic development support for CIMC and California's Native American communities. The Resource Development VISTA will research grant opportunities, write grant proposals, develop fundraising strategies, and identify other new resources to support CIMC's economic development programs. The Management Information Systems VISTA will develop and maintain tools to improve the tracking, management, and reporting of program and financial information for CIMC's programs.
VISTAs will be required to travel to rural Native communities around California, and must be able to provide their own transportation between their housing and the service site. A background in economic development or program development is preferred for these positions.
