Growing Places Garden Project
 
 
 
The Outreach Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director, Program Manager and Education Coordinator to design and develop strategies and programs to build the capacity of Growing Places’ to engage volunteers, to build relationships with program participants and to reach people who need and will benefit from our garden and education programs. The primary tasks will include: • Plan and implement volunteer recruitment and retention programs and activities, including the creation of recruitment materials; • Assist members of The Roots Network to organize monthly activities with a focus on building the leadership capacity of participants to organize events on their own • Identify/attend community and outreach events that will be beneficial to our recruitment efforts • Other tasks as needed and/or projects that support outreach efforts
