Join the Washington Campus Compact (WACC) VISTA Project, a statewide team of 13 VISTAs who grow the capacity of anti-poverty programs built through university/college and community organization partnerships! The Palouse Fresh Food Project Coordinator at Washington State University's Pullman Campus will connect the Center for Civic Engagement to current community efforts and bring food-focused community organizations together to align efforts and maximize capacity, to address food insecurity felt by low-income individuals in rural Whitman County. *This project is based in Pullman, WA.*

Member Duties : The Palouse Fresh Food Project Coordinator will develop partnerships with community organizations and members in Whitman Country. They will map existing resources and assets, determine gaps in services, and convene a coalition of community and campus stakeholders to strengthen networking and alignment of resources. They will determine and implement an effective method of strengthening communication between campus and community organizations. Finally, they will plan national days of service.
