ShareCorps - Freestore FB - Summer Associate
 
 
 
The Freestore Foodbank successfully distributes over 16.2 million meals per year through a dedicated network of over 300 local member agencies. We are a trusted partner to these agencies, which include pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, community groups, and other social service organizations. Partnerships are integral to our mission to end hunger and serve as a direct connection to our 20-county region.

Member Duties : The Summer Programs Coordinator will: ~Develop outreach materials and conduct outreach in order to promote the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) and potentially Summer BackPack to children, parents, and volunteers within SFSP service territories. ~Assist in maintaining and/or implementing the SFSP and Summer BackPack programs. ~Assist with meeting all SFSP and Summer BackPack requirements which may include follow-up training, site monitoring, and record procurement.
