ShareCorps - Washington-Morgan CAC - Summer Associate

The Community Action Program Corporation of Washington-Morgan Counties (also cited here as Washington-Morgan Community Action) is a non-profit, community-based organization serving both Washington and Morgan counties in Ohio. Washington-Morgan Community Action provides an array of quality services including public transportation, housing repair/Weatherization, home heating and cooling assistance, health and employment and training programs, senior nutrition and many more. Washington-Morgan Community Action is widely recognized as a can do organization with a reputation for having impeccable professional and ethical standards. Washington-Morgan Community Action employees over 130 individuals. The Board of Directors includes elected officials and community leaders from both counties, including the Mayor’s, County Commissioners and community members.

Member Duties : The VISTA member (s) will be responsible for assisting the summer feeding site supervisor administer the summer feeding program; this includes serving meals and conducting activities at their assigned site. The member (s) will be responsible for increasing the summer feeding sites capacity and growing the program through community outreach. The member will work will various programs to complete needed and essential functions of the agency.
