FIT VISTA - Outreach Coordinator at Spark NH

Spark NH is the governor-appointed Early Childhood Advisory Council for NH. It is a private-public partnership with a vision that all New Hampshire children and their families are healthy, learning and thriving now and in the future. Spark NH is an unprecedented early childhood infrastructure for our state that provides leadership and management for the system of early childhood programs and services. Spark NH works to build awareness of the importance of early childhood and to fix the fragmentation in our system that has produced less than desirable results for our children. Spark NH’s work encompasses all of early childhood wellness including early education, comprehensive health and family support. A coordinated approach is necessary to the success of all children, but especially those living in poverty. Spark NH was created to coordinate, oversee and support an effective system of early childhood programs and services. Spark NH works to better the lives of New Hampshire’s young children and their families, including economic barriers to accessing the programs and services they need. The 6 committees of the Council work on all the functional areas of the early childhood system: Communications and Public Awareness, Policy, Early Childhood Data System, Quality of Early Childhood Programs and Services, Workforce and Professional Development and Evaluation. The Committees are working to implement the New Hampshire Comprehensive Strategic Plan for Early Childhood.
