The Sanneh Foundation is a youth development organizations that provides life skills programs for at-risk children using soccer as the catalyst to empower kids, improve lives and unite communities. The Sanneh Foundation provides leadership-skill development, mentoring, tutoring and access to a safe and healthy environment to play. The Staff Development Specialist will focus on youth worker recruitment, training, and professional development opportunities to ensure that youth workers are well-suited to placement in schools and are well-trained. This position is part of the Saint Paul Public Schools Foundation VISTA project. Preference given to applications received by 05/09/2014.

Member Duties : 1) Support existing recruitment efforts and create new partnerships in order to broaden recruitment efforts with a goal toward increasing the number of qualified youth worker applicants. 2) Create support systems to improve retention of quality youth workers. 3) Conduct a needs-assessment of staff to determine what staff trainings are necessary to provide quality tutoring to students. 4) Plan professional development and coordinate career exploration opportunities for youth workers.
