New Lens– Program Evaluation Specialist- SPPS Foundation
 
 
 
New Lens Urban Mentoring is a cross-generational mentorship program designed to provide Black males with access and exposure to culturally congruent mentors and role models. The programs utilizes a culturally responsive curriculum, couples with strategically planned individual and group activities designed to meet the mental, physical and social development of adolescent Black males. The primary goal of the Program Evaluation Specialist is to create and implement a system for collecting, tracking and using qualitative program data. This position is part of the Saint Paul Public Schools Foundation VISTA project. Preference given to applications received by 05/09/2014.

Member Duties : 1) Work with New Lens research, evaluation and assessment team to create effective ways of tracking and inputting qualitative data. 2) Create data reporting template that will be used to inform funders and the New Lens advisory board members regarding the programs successes and areas of needed improvement on an on-going basis. 3) Set up and manage the New Lens Sprocket city-wide database.
