Hmong American Partnership- Education Evaluator- SPPSF
 
 
 
Hmong American Partnership (HAP) has provided programs and services to empower Hmong families for more than two decades. HAP provides self-sufficiency and youth services out of its center in Saint Paul. HAP’s youth programs help Hmong, Karen and Karenni youth to achieve social and academic success, increase their opportunities for learning, provide positive avenues for them to connect with the larger community, and to prevent their involvement with drugs, crime and violence. The Education Evaluator will improve HAP’s youth programs by implementing evaluation systems and conducting program assessments and improving data collection, tracking and reporting. This position is part of the Saint Paul Public Schools Foundation VISTA project. Preference given to applications received by 05/09/2014.

Member Duties : The VISTA member will work closely with HAP program staff to identify and implement youth evaluation tools and systems that will guide youth program improvement. The Education Evaluator VISTA’s role includes 1) Research and adopt cross cultural evaluation metrics. 2) Facilitate and train staff to use evaluation tools and systems. 3) Analyze and report on youth evaluation data. 4) Systemize the filing and use of old data. 5) Develop subsequent strategies for implementing sustainable youth evaluation systems.
