Austin Early Education & Family Support Specialist - Summer
 
 
 
This position will be placed with UWATX Success By 6 and will support the on-going programming and projects through a variety of means such as assisting with the Play To Lean program, the Center Project, or the School Readiness Action Plan. Specific activities will depend on the members skills and may include implementing a social media platform for Play to Learn, assisting with the technological aspects of Play To Learn, entering and analyzing data, and running volunteer projects.

Member Duties : Two AmeriCorps members will assist in building capacity for the Success By 6 program. Preferred members will be bilingual (English/Spanish preferred), and will have had relevant college-level course work in child development, speech/language/communications, early childhood education, or social work, or past experience in high-quality early education settings. Members will need to have access to reliable transportation.
