Philabundance Volunteer Department Capacity Building
 
 
 
Philabundance is the Delaware Valley’s largest hunger relief organization. We currently work in 9 counties and draw volunteers from each of those counties to participate in our programs that operate out in these counties. Build on the work of the first-year VISTA in this position by enhancing the capacity of all Philabundance volunteer programs. This includes developing and publishing program and departmental protocol, assessing and enhancing the skill-based volunteer and internship programs, and supporting sustainable recruitment methods. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to speak with diverse groups of varying sizes.

Member Duties : This position will be responsible for collaborating with Philabundance departments to create a volunteer job bank of administrative opportunities, recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers in these advanced positions. The VISTA will also develop programming to support volunteer outreach and education with an emphasis on creating a county-based recruitment model to meet the volunteer needs of our member agencies.
