Member Duties : You will play a vital role in creating housing opportunities for people coming out of incarceration and in recovery. You will network with landlords and partner with community agencies that encourage fair renting practices and dismantle felony barriers. This involves creating marketing materials that promote renting to clients exiting the criminal justice system. Additionally, you will develop training curriculum for current residents living in group housing that promotes independence through awareness of positive housing practices as a renter. This is a great way to network within Minnesota’s reentry community and gain exposure to a multitude of different potential future career paths. You will be encouraged to participate in professional development through group trainings, conferences, and other positive experiences.
