We operate three locations in the Greater Cincinnati area, including the Customer Connection Center on Liberty Street in Over-the-Rhine, the Mayerson Distribution Center on Tennessee Avenue in Bond Hill and the Jeff and Darlene Anderson Family Building on Central Parkway in the West End. The Distribution Center: Supplies 18.5 million meals annually to 300,000 low-income individuals in a 20 county region of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. These meals are supplied through 275 community partners, including soup kitchens, food pantries, community centers and shelters. Customer Connection Center: Provides wrap around services for individuals who are in need of food and personal products, housing assistance, access to healthcare, clothing, job skills, employment placement, public benefits enrollment and financial services. Central Parkway: Houses Cincinnati COOKS! a free culinary job training program, which enables unemployed and underemployed adults to gain marketable skills and bring much-needed food home to their families each day. A Second Course program is also available for advanced culinary training. Giving Fields: A community farm in Northern Kentucky that helps alleviate hunger by growing fresh produce for nearby soup kitchens, churches, and emergency food pantries. Additional programs include: Power Packs (a weekend feeding program for children), Kids Cafe (an after-school feeding program that has its food prepared by our Cincinnati COOKS! students), Summer Feeding (an innovative summer feeding program for children), Senior Boxes (monthly food assistance for senior citizens on a fixed income), Mobile Food Pantry (emergency food to areas that do not have a local pantry) and much more.

Member Duties : Over the course of a year the Financial Literacy program outcomes are as follows: 1. Stabilize individuals in their housing situation, 2. Increase their capacity for higher education and employment. This in turn will give the appropriate tools to move toward self-reliance. The Life Skills Program will address barriers that have prevented people from moving forward. It will help to develop healthier relationships, healthy children being born and will help the families move forward with a sense of pride. A pre- and post-test will be administered after each session and other areas will be measured based on each individuals’ respective needs.
