Sacramento State - NSM Student Success Coordinator

Are you a creative thinker who enjoys writing to a range of audiences, analyzing data and working collaboratively with a diverse community of faculty, staff and students? If so, Sacramento State is hiring a Natural Sciences and Mathematics (NSM) Student Success Coordinator and would benefit from your skills and interests. The Center for Science and Math Success supports students in math and science courses through a variety of academic and social support programs that emphasize equity, community, leadership and life-long learning. This role is part of the CSU STEM VISTA program. As a member of this cohort, you will take part in a learning community of VISTAs across the California State University system. All projects within CSU STEM VISTA are focused on eliminating race, class, and gender disparities in STEM undergraduate graduation rates. You will be trained to utilize sustainable, asset-based approaches that engage students of color, students from low-income communities, and students who are first in their families to attend college.
