Rebuilding Together Twin Cities (MAVA)

Rebuilding Together Twin Cities is a community revitalization partner that specializes in utilizing volunteers to provide critical home repairs for low-income homeowners living in the seven-county Twin Cities metropolitan region. We serve households at or below 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI), but most of the families are below 30% of AMI. Our services help preserve one of the few assets low-income homeowners posses — their homes — and free up their limited resources for other basic needs in their lives, including food, health care, child care and transportation. Through this work, we are able to help alleviate poverty and preserve affordable homeownership for existing low-income homeowners. With the help of our volunteers, we also provide repair services for qualifying area non-profits and community centers that serve low-income communities. These services combined with direct home repair services help to stabilize whole communities and bring a renewed sense of hope to areas in need.
