College Health Corps, CARE Clinic- Red Wing MN (MNCC)
 
 
 
The C.A.R.E. Clinic mission is to improve the health of our community by providing primary health care access, connection to resources and health education to uninsured low-income individuals. The integrated clinic, located in Red Wing, Minnesota, operates weekly through our utilization of 240+ volunteers. Every Tuesday, the following services are provided to approximately 30 patients: medical, dental, mental health care, MNsure assistance and resource connection. The C.A.R.E. Clinic is seeking a Development Coordinator to build capacity of the organization in order to effectively serve our patients. The work of the Development Coordinator will assist in meeting the health needs of the underserved throughout Goodhue County, MN. In order to do so the goals of the position will be to improve financial sustainability, strengthen existing affiliations, facilitate new partnerships, and expand services. ** Interviews will occur on a rolling basis and preference will be given to candidates who apply before April 11th. Candidates must also email a resume and cover letter.**

Member Duties : The AmeriCorps member will be responsible for the following: • Expand and develop various programs, to include the MNsure Navigator Program and Wellness Program • Cultivate relationships with relevant community partners and/or colleges to assist in outreach efforts • Build financial sustainability through grant writing and fundraising efforts. • Promote the clinic in the community through public relations, marketing and other community outreach efforts • Develop evaluation tools and methods for all activities to assess effectiveness of program and make changes accordingly • Develop the clinic’s volunteer resources, including organizing activities such as: orientation, training, and appreciation events
