Additional program goals are to integrate health promotion programs with the My Marshall Initiative focusing on increased physical activity and increased healthy eating habits; to develop a system for hosting 5K Run/Walk/Bike events for the community; to nurture healthy active lifestyle education for 7th graders in the public school system; to create training manuals for participation in fitness testing and exercise prescription; to engage Spanish and Somali communities; and to measure impact for all programs and services administered throughout VISTA’s term of service. **Interviews will occur on a rolling basis and preference will be given to candidates who apply before April 11th.
