Member Duties : • Expand upon existing job training curriculum.
• Implement and conduct vocational training courses that include practice interviews, creation of resumes, and job skills development sessions.
• Recruit, train and supervise volunteers from specific sectors (such as retail sales, maintenance, hospitality, light manufacturing and food service) to conduct mentoring sessions with clients.
• Implement and expand a service learning initiative that promotes volunteerism at schools, hospitals and other local institutions, enabling clients to build relationships with potential employers, obtain on-the-job training, and help foster community development.
• Develop and maintain a master schedule of volunteer opportunities and mentoring sessions.
• Maintain records in a master database to track progress towards program goals.
