NEST’s mission is to connect northeast Seattle residents to community resources; and provide social and educational opportunities so that, as they age, members can live confidently in their homes and neighborhoods. This position supports this mission directly by increasing members' engagement with services and each other to increase their confidence, well-being and support network.

Member Duties : Serve with individuals age 65 or older. Records contacts with and services for participants in database, Salesforce. Serve with NEST staff, and other volunteers on the continued implementation and evaluation of the NEST's programs Serve with NEST staff, volunteers and the NEST programs committee to develop social programs as part of outreach, membership recruitment and marketing for NEST. Serve with NEST staff, NEST volunteers and the NEST Advisory Board to develop and recruit volunteers. Link NEST members to available volunteers, vendors, and social/educational events and activities. Represent NEST at community meetings, presentations, & events to recruit new volunteers, members & vendors
