Career and Curriculum Development VISTA

Goodwill Denver’s Youth Career Development (YCD) Program’s mission is to prepare youth from low-income communities for success in the 21st Century workplace. This program addresses the alarmingly low graduation rates of at-risk youth, while equipping them with the skills needed to graduate and prepare for a life of success. YCD accomplishes this through classroom instruction, connecting students to work experiences, providing students with mentors, and a variety of other support programs. Goodwill Denver’s Youth Programs provide economic stability support to 17,000 youth, 88% of whom are from low-income families.
