NJ Bonner VISTA Fellows -Statewide Community Networking
 
 
 
The NJ Bonner VISTA Fellows Program is an initiative that addresses issues related to poverty such as economic development, asset-based community development, hunger, nutrition, health and literacy throughout New Jersey. The program is a collaboration between The College of New Jersey and the Bonner Foundation. The NJ Bonner VISTA Fellows Program comprises a cohort of 20 members who serve full-time to enhance volunteerism, develop economic opportunities, and address poverty issues throughout New Jersey.

Member Duties : The Statewide Community Networking Coordinator's role will be to strengthen our program by working closely with the on-site supervisor to: 1) provide training and related support to five local Capacity Building VISTAs to perform their assigned roles; 2) help develop guide and related resources for establishing capacity building project partnerships, with a special focus on supporting local collaboratives working towards collective impact on poverty-related issues; 3) help develop programs, structures, and processes at Rider, the Princeton Theological Seminary, and (possibly) Princeton University that mobilize students and faculty to respond to capacity-building opportunities identified by local community groups in Mercer County.
