PathWays PA/Boat Project SOS ECO

Boat People SOS-Delaware Valley is the local, community-based branch office of a national Vietnamese-American non-profit organization with a 32-year track record of service. Founded by Vietnamese immigrants and refugees, BPSOS is the leading Vietnamese community-based service organization in Philadelphia and Camden Counties. Established in 1980 to address the plight of the Vietnamese “boat people,” BPSOS conducted rescue-at-sea missions and saved several thousands of displaced Vietnamese. We have since evolved to provide direct services and community empowerment work across the country. Inspired by the migration experience of our founders, we seek to build a world where vibrant, thriving and connected Vietnamese American and immigrant communities’ work together to ensure that each person’s basic human rights are respected and protected. Our mission is to empower, organize, and equip Vietnamese individuals and communities in their search for liberty and dignity. Our four primary areas of focus are: Civic Engagement, Youth Development and Organizing, and Health Promotion and Advocacy, and Community Building Projects. Our successful projects and programs are anchored by dedicated and passionate bilingual, bicultural staff. We hope you join our team!
