Member Duties : Responsibilities with the community building specialist include door-to-door engagement and support of resident-led initiatives. Duties include: collaborating with a local resident to establish a youth gardening class; orchestrating the planting of four additional trees on one of our targeted streets; planning and hosting a summer block party for one of our target communities; promoting resident leadership by encouraging block watches and attendance at Community Management Team meetings; engaging residents in two neighborhood beautification projects; conducting and analyzing block condition and resident satisfaction surveys; pursuing an art project in the community garden in conjunction with The Hill Art Museum.
