ShareCorps-Freestore Foodbank, Power Pack Coordinator

The Freestore Foodbank successfully distributes over 16.2 million meals per year through a dedicated network of over 300 local member agencies. We are a trusted partner to these agencies, which include pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, community groups, and other social service organizations. Member agencies are integral to our mission to end hunger and serve as a direct connection to our 20-county region.

Member Duties : The Power Pack Coordinator (Kids Cafe Back-Up) will: ~Engage and support new and returning Power Pack partner site coordinators. ~Develop a volunteer recruitment system to coordinate and engage delivery drivers for the Power Pack program. ~Assist with research and community outreach in order to promote, sustain, and potentially expand the Power Pack program in FSFB urban and rural counties. ~Conduct ongoing research of potential products, alternative models, etc. to continually improve the Power Pack program. ~Work with Freestore Foodbank staff and the Kids Cafe VISTA in developing, expanding, and researching means to sustain and grow the Summer Food Service Program in FSFB urban and rural counties.
