2022 Tri-County Health Network - Public Health Analyst
 
 
 
Tri-County Health Network (TCHNetwork) the healthcare arm of the Telluride Foundation is seeking a passionate VISTA to join our team as the Public Health Analyst to help improve the overall health of the low-income, underserved residents of our rural mountain communities in southwest Colorado. ***TCHNetwork currently operates over 25 highly successful Public Health Programs that work to fill the void of access to healthcare across our 6 county region.*** Programs include: mobile dental clinics, behavioral health education, teletherapy, health insurance enrollment assistance, SNAP outreach, wellness screenings and Cooking Matters courses, youth substance use prevention, health equity advocacy, non-emergent medical transportation, diversity, equity and inclusion education, Latinx advocacy, emergency fund administration, volunteer coordination, Medicaid care coordination, and palliative medicine support services. ***The VISTA member will be based out of Telluride, Colorado a former mining town where Butch Cassidy robbed his first bank and Nikola Tesla set up the downtown lights. Today, the town is a world-class ski resort in the winter and a bustling festival town in the summer. However, she/he will travel across our 6-county region for community events.

Member Duties : The Public Health Analyst is responsible for assisting in implementation plans, workflow design, performance measurement, and quality improvement of TCHNetwork Programs. **The VISTA will improve program efficacy, efficiency, and sustainability through data gathering, reporting and analysis. **Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualities: - Ability to identify problems, research alternatives, & achieve solutions - Experience in spreadsheet & database manipulation - Possess a “can do” attitude & is highly motivated - Passionate about helping others & making a difference for underserved populations - Strong multitasking, follow-through, & follow-up skills. - Flexible, open-minded & honest - High personal standards and strong work ethic - Great team player who works well with people from various backgrounds and personalities.
