Carson-Newman VISTA

The Carson-Newman AmeriCorps VISTA Fellows Program is a full-time, one year, post-graduate service program where individuals commit to fighting poverty in behind-the-scenes capacity building work. Each VISTA is matched with a service site at an off-campus non-profit partner where they connect the resources of our campus and the community to further strengthen their work. Our program provides high-impact professional development training that focuses on the enhancement of our VISTAs personal and professional development, including, but not limited to: grant writing, community organizing, volunteer recruitment, and sustainability. Additionally, our program is very team focused and provides a variety of support to help make the best of the service year experience. We are committed to change in our community by developing deep, sustainable, quality community partnerships. Join the team! Serve with Passion! Become a Carson-Newman AmeriCorps VISTA Fellow!
