Opportunity Link is a regional nonprofit agency committed to finding systemic ways to reduce poverty and help the communities of Northcentral Montana achieve independence, prosperity and a better way of life. Opportunity Link strives to create and implement strategies and encourage partnerships that will reduce poverty in the region long-term. Opportunity Link devotes resources to promote public-private sector collaborations to develop systemic solutions. The organization was established in partnership with the Northwest Area Foundation which is dedicated to helping communities reduce poverty for the long-term.

Member Duties : The Vibrant Futures project is a HUD-funded sustainable community planning project with an aim to expand the livability of the target communities through local and regional strategies aimed at improving housing conditions and affordability, increasing access to transportation, water infrastructure, access and availability of health care services, and economic development. The VISTA will engage and educate community members in the target communities to ensure that community members have a say in the planning process. This will be accomplished through stakeholder meetings, focus groups, outreach aiming at identifying the immediate needs of the communities so that community planning process can be structured around increased livability through stable housing and increased economic opportunity.
