Youth Empowerment Project Coordinator

Community enCompass (CenC) pursues strategies to maximize the engagement of empowered neighbors in downtown Muskegon neighborhoods. To create healthy neighborhoods, CenC collaborates with neighbors, human service organizations, churches, grass roots organizations, schools, and neighborhood associations to coordinate revitalization activities and services. VISTA will support long-term fund development and volunteer recruitment for programs that serve the local community through positive engagement of neighbors. VISTA play an important role in building organizational capacity coordinating the recruiting, training, and equipping models which support long-term, sustainable changes. The YEP Coordinator will serve to increase the sustainability of Project.

Member Duties : The VISTA member will assist with the implementation and coordination of the Youth Empowerment Program (YEP), building sustainability for the YEP project. Activities include Infrastructure & Volunteer Management, Technology & Sustainability, Outreach & Capacity Building.
