National Coalition for the Homeless - Sustainability

Through the AmeriCorps*VISTA Program we engage members to serve in sites throughout the United States in areas of Outreach, Capacity Building, and Sustainability so that VISTA member's work will have a multiplying impact on the lives of many. To help ensure that the agencies serving the homeless and low- income people are self sustaining organizations that are able to be at the forefront to combat poverty, the NCH VISTA Project will build the sustainable development, best practices, and community based models necessary to keep them not only thriving but able to expand and address the real world solutions for ending homelessness in their community. VISTAs will be engaged in a variety of activities that focus on: public relations, communications, fundraising, event planning, capacity building We currently have VISTA positions in Florida in Port Charlotte, Greater Tampa, Gulf Coast, and Gold Coast. Also sites in Richmond, New Orleans, and Atlanta
