CFRC Mission Statement: The Cordova Family Resource Center mission is to promote healthy individual and family relationships throughout the community by providing education, advocacy, and crisis response. Cordova Family Resource Center's (CFRC) was incorporated in 1993 to assist victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Since then, CFRC has established an integrated network of services we seek to continue. We propose to continue providing accessible: Safe Homes, a 24-hour Help Line, Safety Assessments, Information and Referral, Legal Advocacy, Transportation, Personal Support, Non-Offender/Family and Children's Services (including age appropriate support groups), and Outreach and Educational Programs to strengthen our community response to domestic violence and sexual assault. Our goal is to continue providing quality emergency services, crisis intervention, advocacy, outreach, and non-offender family member and children's services to individuals impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault in the Cordova area. Current beneficiaries of our programs are Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Victims, as well as victims of other violent crimes and their families. Often our beneficiaries are at if not below poverty level and/or often fall within the low to below poverty range, while or during the process of becoming safe. **Benefits include: Monthly living allowance ($1178), relocation costs ($0.34/mile up to $1000) and settling in allowance ($550) for members moving 50+ miles, health benefits, child care assistance, all expenses paid training, and an Education Award ($5,550) or cash stipend. **Priority given to candidates who apply by 6/21/13.
