Twin Cities RISE! St Paul (Emerge)
 
 
 
This position is part of the Emerge VISTA program and will be located at Twin Cities RISE! in St Paul. Twin Cities RISE! provides comprehensive personal development, work skills training, and professional employment placement services that lead to living-wage jobs with career prospects. Adults enroll in our training program for 12-18 months and are required to spend 15-20 hours in training per week. The program includes training in professional development, basic-advanced computer skills, work and job-search skills, supportive services, internship opportunities, and placement into living wage jobs. The goal is to provide our participants with the skills they need to become self-sufficient and exit poverty. This position will support our organization to increase its capacity within the area of Employer Services, a crucial component of our program that supports our core mission. Jobs are at the core of long-term success and through this position you will help us create and implement an efficient and structured process for further developing community partnerships in order to build capacity to find participants jobs and internships, especially for people with criminal records.

Through this position you will join an energetic team based out of St Paul where you will gain skills in networking with area employers, event organization, and training. Without a good job and the necessary skills to keep that job, individuals, especially ex-offenders, struggle with basic needs such as housing, food, education and transportation.
