SPEA VISTA Summer Associates
VISTA Summer Associates will serve a ten-week term of full-time service (June 1 – August 7, 2015). Summer Associates will receive a biweekly living allowance (cumulatively totaling approximately $2,200). At the completion of term of service, Summer Associates may elect to receive either a $1,200 education award or a $250 cash stipend. SPEA VISTA Summer Associates are eligible for internship credit and/or fulfillment of experiential learning requirement at Indiana University's School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA), Bloomington. Member Duties : The program is designed to provide an experiential learning opportunity to students of the School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Summer Associates will join organizations in planning and implementing strategies to increase organizational efficacy. The Summer Associate will also provide support to organizations in a way that will provide excellent experiences to students interested in working in nonprofit organizations.
