Member Duties : --Generate youth volunteers from disadvantaged circumstances and engage them in civic service and reflection.
--Organize and participate in service projects for team members and youth.
--Develop community service activities with youth participants and community partners, such as group homes and other youth serving organizations.
--Meet with supervisor on a weekly basis.
--Support existing or develop new opportunities where youth can practice leadership and where a greater value is placed on inclusion and representation.
--Engage youth in conversations about community involvement and discuss civic responsibility.
--Facilitate civic reflection discussions and activities
--Plan routine service projects for youth to increase the likelihood of sustained volunteerism without direction from AmeriCorps members.
