This individual will continue Part II of the creative project that involves working to upgrade the performance ability of the College Access Center’s annual programs aimed at increasing college awareness, readiness, preparedness, and access. Some of the initiatives include: SAT/ACT Prep Class, Tutoring & Homework Help Services, College Prep Counseling, along with Student Educational and Informational Workshops.

Member Duties : The AmeriCorps member will be trained as a Capacity Building Coordinator (CBC) playing an integral role in shaping and evaluating the College Access Center's college readiness programs. CBC will be expected to: (1) Create, manage, and monitor indicators that market and evaluate CACDC programs and record student activities; (2) Direct, collect, record, and analyze the demographics of student participation and satisfaction; (3) Work with partnering institutions in creating important student tracking data systems; (4) Recruit, train, and coordinate college student and professional volunteers for the Center to best support CACDC programming and service delivery; (5) Develop training, online marketing strategies, and create website enhancements for the Center; (6) Update manuals, reference guides, and best practices for planning, staffing, and launching annual student college access programs and services
