* BMVP Summer-Opioid & Meth Services Expansion

The overall goal of this project is to reduce opioid / methamphetamine abuse by providing access to healthcare through outreach, education, and intervention strategies to deal with the drug epidemic in Yellowstone County. The Community Development Division is spearheading an opioid / methamphetamine response initiative to assess, coordinate and mobilize community resources. This will require the creation of materials and outreach activities. This project will help alleviate poverty by connecting low-income, addicted persons to programs that provide substance abuse treatment, life-skills, education, and employment services so they may achieve success in acquiring health and the opportunity to move out of poverty.
