Northwoods Habitat for Humanity - Construction/ABWK

The Summer Construction/ABWK Facilitator will serve with the Northwoods Habitat for Humanity affiliate in Bemidji, MN. Habitat for Humanity takes an integrated approach to solving Minnesota’s housing issues by building new homes, remodeling foreclosed homes and repairing existing houses through the A Brush with Kindness Program (ABWK) to ensure they do not fall in to disrepair. Our AmeriCorps members are deeply involved in all of these strategies and responsible for recruiting, supervising and/or training community volunteers. The members enable Habitat to engage more volunteers in its work with the end goal of providing safe, decent, affordable shelter to qualified families. Our program allows members to serve their community, reflect on the impact of their service, learn new skills, make new friends, and have fun! All applicants must submit a resume and cover letter for any position for which they would like to be considered to AmeriCorpsProgram@tchabitat.org. For more information, please visit - www.tchabitat.org/AmeriCorps
