TC Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Facilitator

Members in the Habitat for Humanity AmeriCorps program make a difference across the Twin Cities metro area by supporting 15,000+ volunteers in the building of 50 homes each year! Throughout the year, members develop personal and professional skills, have the opportunity to network, and participate in a meaningful program - all while earning a living allowance, Education Award, and free health insurance. Serving in AmeriCorps is a fantastic way to transition from university into whatever is next. Whether you're planning to apply to grad school or pursue a professional career, consider taking a year to serve your community, reflection on your passions, learn great life skills (like building a house!), and develop meaningful relationships. The program is challenging, fun, and extremely memorable. No previous construction experience is required - just a willingness to learn, work hard, and an enthusiasm for making housing more accessible and affordable. www.tchabitat.org/get-involved/americorps Benefits: Living Allowance - $17000 Cell phone/tool/clothing allowance - $600 Health Insurance Affordable housing option - ($200/month, first come first serve) Segal Education Award - $6,345 (upon successful completion of service hours)
