Fayetteville State University's Office of College Access Programs mission is to encourage and assist youth who are traditionally under-represented in post-secondary education with preparation for, entry into, and completion of a post-secondary education. The office comprises of Gaining Early Awareness & Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP), Educational Talent Search (TRiO), Upward Bound (TRiO), Upward Bound Math & Science (TRiO), and 21st Century Community Learning Centers. The Office provides a broad range of high-quality college preparatory services to students, parents, and educators.

Member Duties : The Resource Development Coordinator assists the Office of College Access Programs with building and cultivating community partnerships and resources for a College Access Strategy. This position is located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The Resource Development Coordinator will develop a strategic plan to leverage resources for disadvantaged youth. Responsibilities include developing a partnership database; writing mini-grants to leverage resources; serving on community and university committees; collaborating with local nonprofits to establish partnerships and resources; and leveraging free higher education resources to support middle and high school access to college.
