College Access Programs-Resource & Grants Specialist
 
 
 
Fayetteville State University's Office of College Access Programs mission is to encourage and assist youth who are traditionally under-represented in post-secondary education with preparation for, entry into, and completion of a post-secondary education. The office comprises of Talent Search (TRiO), Upward Bound (TRiO), Upward Bound Math & Science (TRiO), and 21st Century Community Learning Centers. The Office provides a broad range of high-quality college preparatory services to students, parents, and educators.

Member Duties : Assists with securing funds and cultivating community partnerships and resources for a College Access Strategy by serving on community and university committees; writing grants (funding priorities will include leveraging funding for three positions); STEM resources; tutoring supplies and materials; professional development; academic coaching services and non-cognitive skill development); collaborating with local nonprofits to establish partnerships and resources; and leveraging free higher education resources to support middle and high school access to college. The position will track in-kind data and develop an evaluation system for effective volunteerism. This position is located in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
