Member Duties : AmeriCorps Family Advocates shall serve as the family's primary contact within the First 5 Service Corps program. The Family Advocate will provide education and outreach strategies to promote optimal childhood development and encourage Family Resource Center access and usage. Family activities to facilitate school readiness and promote positive parent-child interaction. Advocates work with families in their home and in the center with age-appropriate activities that promote school readiness.
