Member Duties : Member Duties : Lead after-school programming and activities from 2pm - 6pm Mon-Thurs and participate in trainings on Fridays. All part time members are expected to work full time hours (8am to 5pm) in the summer in running our summer camps with no additional pay. Assist students in completing their homework. Tutor students, when needed. Coordinate special programs in After School such as: sports teams and clubs. Coordinate special projects such as family nights and field trips. Develop new programs based on the needs of the students, their families, and the community at large. Participate in monthly community service projects. Complete weekly data entry in the LAYC Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) System, tracking both in-school and after-school work with each student. Design and implement summer enrichment programs for youth in the community. Teach and motivate effectively. Complete assigned projects satisfactorily. Part-time Corps members will work from 2pm to 6pm Mon thru Friday.
