BACR: LARKIN ST. YOUTH SERVICES
 
 
 
There are approximately 5,700 homeless youth in San Francisco. Your passion for and skill in building partnerships, growing volunteerism, & engaging the community will support the innovative work of Larkin Street and help create a continuum of services that inspires these youth to move beyond the street.

Member Duties : Work with inquiring groups and program staff to coordinate one-time volunteer projects. Develop and implement new strategies for increasing ongoing involvement of group volunteers. With supervisor and site program managers, develop job descriptions for new volunteers to fill current service gaps, develop recruitment strategies for these positions and current hard to fill positions, and implement these strategies. Cultivate new partnerships with corporations and religious, education, and civic organization through research and outreach. Develop new tiered volunteer program for completion of special projects. Participate in all aspects of recruiting, training, and placing volunteers for this program and develop tools for monitoring and assessing its success.
