Emerge VISTA Leader

Emerge Community Development (Emerge) is a Minneapolis-based non-profit with substantial workforce development experience with ex-offender populations. Emerge VISTA is a cohort of 12 VISTA members placed at diverse host sites in Minneapolis, St Paul and greater Minnesota to address the substantial needs of a growing population of Minnesota ex-offender residents with multiple barriers to economic stability. The Emerge VISTA Program offers a unique opportunity for 12 VISTA members to create economic opportunities for a rapidly growing and significantly impoverished ex-offender population. VISTA members will accomplish this goal by providing employment, financial and housing services and trainings. **YOU MAY ONLY APPLY TO THIS POSITION IF YOU'VE ALREADY SERVED ONE SUCCESSFUL YEAR AS AN AMERICORPS MEMBER OR ARE A RETURNING PEACE CORPS MEMBER**
