Programs are held on a daily, weekly, and / or seasonal time schedule. The five (05) Core Programs are as follows: 1. Character & Leadership 2. Education & Career Development 3. Health & Life Skills 4. Arts & Crafts 5. Physical Fitness & Recreation Through these core areas, a system of services, programs, and activities have been established to expose youth to information and training on technology, nutrition, financial literacy, entry-level employment, and preparation for continuing education. On an average, there are 75-80 youth present each day who participate in tutorial sessions, recreational games, arts and crafts, physical fitness and career development activities.

Member Duties : The Americorps member will assist BGCCC in providing an array of opportunities including internships, mentoring, educational assistance, summer jobs, and instructional basketball camps/competitions. The primary activities will continue year-round.
