Member Duties : * Develop public education about the energy & monetary savings associated with walking & bicycling for transportation
* Track increased knowledge of presentation participants
*Coordinate events to promote walking & bicycling as energy-efficient, & cost-effective means of transportation
*Assist with outreach about facilities available for energy-efficient, & cost-effective transportation
*Assist Trails Coordinator in education & outreach about bike/ped facilities
*Analyze the economic and social benefits of a Bicycle Friendly Community & its impact on reducing poverty
*Track and report use of bike/ped facilities to determine effectiveness of education & outreach
*Research programs that show increased bike/ped rates for other communities
*Conduct community safety training based on League of American Bicyclists program
*Develop promotion of messages that relate to environmentally conscious practices
*Use social media to update trail conditions & bike/ped events notices
