| Member Duties : The City of Fayetteville Community Resources and Solid Waste & Recycling Divisions seek an Energy Corps member to assist with two programs to help residents save money & energy (1) Hands-on assistance to low-income households using the CDBG Energy Efficiency & Weatherization Kit (2) Education & outreach about recycling & trash in low-recycling-participation neighborhoods. The member will *Identify qualifying individuals through submitted applications, community presentations, & by reviewing demographic data *Organize volunteers for door-to-door distribution events in under-served neighborhoods with significant numbers of low-income households *Conduct follow-up surveys with service recipients to determine increased awareness of environmentally conscious practices*Estimate energy savings*Track the number of kits distributed*Organize volunteers for door-to-door recycling surveys *Conduct presentations regarding environmentally conscious practices
